Our Team
Currently, our team consists of 66 people, including 54 full-time employees, with many holding medical degrees. Among them, 12 have PhD degrees, 6 have Master degrees, and 9 hold senior academic or professional titles. Professor Guangmei Yan serves as the chief scientist of the company. Several MDs and PhDs form the company executive team.

Founder and President
Prof. Guangmei Yan MD/PhD is the founder and CSO of Virotech. He is a former research fellow at NIH and Indiana University, a former research scientist at Eli Lilly and Co. and was Vice President of Sun Yat-sen University Guangzhou and Dean of Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. Prof. Yan has received numerous prestigious grants and awards for his success in biomedical development.

Company President: Wei Wang Mfin has over 20 years of experience in investment and management in the biotech industry
CTO: Prof. Jun Hu MD/PhD is a Professor for Virology at Sun Yat-sen University with over 15 years of experience in research in both academia and industry and over 20 peer-reviewed publications.
CEO: Wenbo Zhu MD/PhD is associate Professor for Pharmacology at Sun Yat-sen University with over 15 years of research experience both in academia and industry and over 40 peer-reviewed publications
